Imaginarium was a live event company that specialized in conventions and conferences. I joined Imaginarium when they coordinated the very first Comic Con in the silicon valley in 2016 and continued to work under them for events in the silicon valley area until they closed down at the beginning of 2020.

Highlights
I began working with Imaginarium during the launch of the first Silicon Valley Comic Con in 2016, and continued contributing to large-scale conventions and conferences until 2020.
In this role, I helped design and support interactive event experiences, focusing on how attendees navigated and engaged within large, high-energy environments. From layout planning to interactive installations, my work aimed to make complex event spaces feel intuitive and accessible.
Designing for physical spaces introduced a different kind of UX challenge; considering crowd movement, visibility, and real-world constraints. I collaborated with event organizers, technical teams, and vendors to ensure that signage, installations, and interactive elements worked seamlessly within the environment.
Working in live settings required quick thinking and adaptability, often solving problems in real time as events unfolded. This experience built a strong foundation in experiential design and shaped my understanding of user behavior beyond digital interfaces. I don't have much of my work from this time in the UK and those events were always very hectic, but please enjoy some of these photos from my time on the floor.
