About Me
Designer based in Nottingham
I design digital products with a focus on clarity, usability, and thoughtful interaction.
My work sits at the intersection of design and strategy where ideas become usable, scalable products.

About Me
I believe in the power of design to make a meaningful impact.
I aim to transform ideas into designs that captivate and offer accessibility.
I strive to create solutions that bring creativity and functionality together.

Background
Starting out in public health and disease research, I found my love of helping my community. I branched out and worked in veterinary medicine, working in animal shelters and private clinics before realising I could use my skills in research, graphic design, and technology to craft better, more memorable experiences for the people in my community.

How I Work
01
Background Research
I delve deep into understanding brand, target audience, and objectives, unravelling the insights that will shape my creative journey. I look into the market, accessibility requirements, and gather as much information to prepare for creating the best product possible.
02
Define Needs
Armed with the insights from stage one, I work to bring concepts to life, seamlessly blending aesthetics and functionality for a visually stunning and user-centric experience. This phase includes laying out information architecture and user flows to help define the priorities and structures for the next stage.
03
Brainstorm
Using the insights from research and base elements I've set out previously, I begin setting everything into a loose form with wireframes, art sketches, colour palettes, and the individual design elements that will become the foundations of a finished website or application. In this stage, low-fidelity prototypes may be constructed and used for basic, initial testing to identify additional pain points and smooth out problems early on.
04
Prototype
Using the wireframes and information gathered previously, mid and high-fidelity prototypes are created to be used for testing. Depending on the project, this may be done in Figma or through functional applications built with HTML, CSS, and JS.
05
Test
In order to ensure what I've made is the best it can possibly be, I set up testing with participants who meet the criteria of the target audience. This is especially important when evaluating accessibility, and I take extra care to make sure testing is as accessible as the application itself by reaching out with accessible communication, offering audio options for consent procedures, and so much more.
06
Iterate
Iteration is a continuous process that exists at every stage, but comes after every testing stage. Based on feedback, user needs, and brand identity, I refine designs and ensure each product is functional and beautiful.
07
Repeat
All experiences can be improved, so even after testing and iteration, I test and iterate again. The culmination of my efforts results in the delivery of a polished, cohesive digital experience.
